Marsha Mason to Brush Up Her Shakespeare – Afflict

Mason's most recent Broadway appearance was in the play Impressionism. She recently starred in the Off-Broadway revival of I Never Sang for My Father. Her films include "Blume in Love," "The Goodbye Girl," "Only When I Laugh," "Chapter Two," "Cinderella Liberty" and more. She appeared in Broadway's The Good Doctor,Affliction, Steel Magnolias, The Night of the Iguana and Happy Birthday, Wanda June.

Artistic director Michael Kahn will direct the comedy, to play the Lansburgh Theatre Sept. 7-Oct. 24.

The company will also include Bev Appleton as a Lord, Michael Bakkensen as Parolles, Caitlin O'Connell as Widow Capilet, Nick Depinto as Dumaine the Elder, Conrad Feininger as a Lord, Adam Green as Lavatch, Natalie Mitchell as Diana, Barbara Pinolini as Rynalda and Miriana,Fred perry, Tony Roach as Bertram, Miriam Silverman as Helena and Paxton Whitehead as Lafeu. Additional casting will be announced.

Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason will star as the Countess of Rosillion in the Shakespeare Theatre Company's new production of All's Well That Ends Well in Washington, DC, this fall.
